Asid Dan Minyak Kelapa Dara


Kebelakangan ini riuh diperkatakan di dada akhbar-akhbar tempatan mengenai geng asid yang kembali mengganas di lembah kelang. Kes terbaru melibatkan seorang guru S.Rani dan seorang pelajar Nur Aqilah Osman berserta beberapa orang awam yang sedang menunggu bas di Rawang.Berikut ialah petikan peristiwa sebagaimana yang diceritakan semula oleh Nur Aqilah Osman.

“Tanpa menghiraukan tudung dan pakaian serta beg sekolah yang terbakar, saya lari pulang ke rumah untuk meminta bantuan kerana tidak tahan perit,” kata Nur Aqilah Osman, 14, mangsa simbahan asid di pondok menunggu bas di pekan Batu 17 di sini, kira-kira jam 7 pagi semalam.

Menurut pelajar Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Batu 16 itu, dia sedang menunggu bas untuk ke sekolah bersama seorang rakannya apabila terkena asid yang disimbah dua lelaki meragut rantai emas seorang guru wanita yang turut menunggu bas.”

Petikan di atas merupakan kejadian simbahan asid terbaru yang dilakukan oleh manusia gila yang tak sepatutnya hidup di muka bumi ini. Rentetan peristiwa-peristiwa sebegitu membuatkan kita tertanya-tanya apakah motif sebenar penjenayah-penjenayah gila tersebut. Apa yang saya ingin kaitkan disini ialah mengenai khasiat minyak kelapa dara yang mampu meredakan kesan terbakar akibat terkena asid.


Sebagaimana yang kita tahu asid merupakan sejenis kimia yang bersifat menghakis yang boleh mendatangkan kecederaan teruk sekiranya terkena pada permukaan kulit atau mana-mana anggota tubuh badan kita.Di bawah ini saya akan sertakan satu kisah atau lebih tepat testimoni daripada seorang magsa asid formic atau cuka getah.Bezanya Puan Rosiah ini terkena cuka getah di badan dan mukanya akibat tergelincir semasa kerja-kerja menorah getah dan bukannya angkara penjenayah gila.

Asid formic atau lebih di kenali sebagai cuka getah adalah pemangkin untuk proses pembekuan susu getah(lateks). Sifatnya yang menghakis boleh mendatangkan kecedaraan seperti melecur dan buta jika terkena pada mata jika tidak di kendalai dengan cermat dan berhati-hati. Namun begitu,manusia merancang dan Allah yang menentukan. Malang tidak berbau bagi puan Rosiah yang merupakan penoreh getah sejak bertahun-tahun dahulu,apabila kemalangan telah berlaku dan menimpanya ketika sedang melakukan kerja-kerja membekukan susu getah. Pada hari Isnin tersebut,dalam hujan renyai-renyai beliau ingin menyegerakan kerja-kerja dan pulang awal ke rumah. Oleh kerana licin,tanpa di sedari ketika mencapai bekas berisi cuka getah(asid formic) tersebut,tiba-tiba ia terjatuh dan sebahagiannya terpercik ke badan dan muka beliau. Serta merta kulitnya mula memerah dan melecur di sebabkan sifat penghakis asid tersebut. Dengan menahan kesakitan,beliau berlari ke rumah dan mengambil minyak kelapa dara asli keluaran bioasli yang sentiasa menjadi keperluan di rumahnya dan segera menyapukan ke bahagian kulit yang terkena cuka getah tadi. Kesakitan yang di alami agak reda dan beliau terus merujuk kepada klinik berdekatan untuk mendapatkan rawatan lanjut. Doktor yang merawat beliau amat terkeju kerana kesan pada kulit yang terkena cuka getah itu tidak melecur dengan teruk. Doktor tersebut menyatakan terdapat kes sepertinya pada minggu sebelumnya dan mangsa cedera melecur dengan teruk sekali. Puan Rosiah menceritakan pada doktor bahawa beliau telah menyapukan minyak kelapa dara asli keluaran Bioasli pada tempat tersebut dan sendiri merasa tidak percaya dengan kesannya. Beliau bersyukur kepada Allah dan terima kasih kepada Bioasli kerana mengeluarkan produk hebat ini.

Some people lose their legs or other limbs resulting from diabetes. Most people with diabetes are at risk of kidney failure. If you already have diabetes then listen to your doctor and follow all instructions. One of the top recommendations to diabetes patients is to consume much fluids. Your body is losing fluids as diabetes drains your bodily organs of its natural elements. You will also need to avoid saturated fat foods and basic sugars. In addition, your doctor will need to test you regularly to control your illness.

Perbezaan Antara Deodoran Biasa,Antiperspiran Dan Deodoran Bioasli

Mengapa perlu memilih deodoran alami ?

Antiperspiran
Kebanyakan orang berfikir bahawa antiperspiran dan deodoran adalah sama. Hakikatnya keduanya adalah produk yang sangat berbeza. Perbezaan mendasar terletak pada mekanisma fungsi produk ini, dan potensinya mempengaruhi kesihatan. Pada dasarnya kedua-duanya merupakan bahan kimia yang menggunakan proses yang berbeza untuk mengurangkan bau badan. Sebahagian bahan tertentu dalam produk berkenaan dikatakan tidak baik untuk kesihatan. Walaubagaimanapun deodoran sering disebut sebagai alternatif yang lebih baik daripada kebanyakan antiperspirant.

Antiperspirant, selain mengandungi bahan wangian, ia juga mengandungi sebatian kimia yang berfungsi menyumbat, menutup atau menghalang pori-pori liang roma dengan astringents kuat seperti garam aluminium klorida, aluminium klorohidrat dan aluminium zirkonium sehingga peluh tidak dapat dilepaskan. Deodoran Biasa
Sementara deodoran biasa berfungsi dengan meneutralkan bau keringat dan dengan bertindak sebagai antiseptik yakni dengan membunuh bakteria yang berperanan menguraikan peluh, penyebab bau yang tidak enak. Deodoran tidak menghalang keringat, tetapi mencegah bau.

Ramai yang mempunyai persepsi yang salah tentang deodoran, iaitu dengan beranggapan bahawa ia hanya bahan beraroma yang menutupi bau badan. Oleh itu mereka lebih cenderung untuk memilih antiperspirant, yang mereka anggap berfungsi menghilangkan bau, berbanding deodoran yang pada anggapan mereka hanya menutupi bau.

Kesimpulannya deodoran adalah lebih baik kerana ia tidak mengganggu proses perpeluhan, proses pendinginan tubuh semulajadi.

Kumpulan-kumpulan persatuan pengguna serata dunia kini terus menyuarakan keprihatinan atas alasan keselamatan dan kesihatan awam yang berhubung kait dengan produk kecantikan, dan tidak terkecuali deodoran dan antiperspirant. Deodoran Bioasli
Sebagaimana kebanyakan deodoran, deodoran Bioasli tidak berfungsi untuk menghalang pengeluaran peluh atau menghalang keringat, tetapi berfungsi menghilangkan kesan-kesan sampingan apabila seseorang berpeluh, meneutralkan bau keringat dan bertindak sebagai antiseptik, yakni dengan membunuh bakteria yang berperanan menguraikan peluh, penyebab bau yang tidak enak, selain menutupi bau.
Kehadiran minyak kelapa dara, yang bersifat anti bakteria, anti virus dan anti kulat sebagai komponen utamanya, menjadikannya sangat berkesan untuk menghalang sebarang aktiviti bakteria pada mana-mana bahagian luar kulit manusia yang berpotensi menghasilkan bau yang tidak diingini.
Selain itu minyak kelapa dara yang terdiri dari MCFA sangat membantu memelihara mana-mana bahagian kulit yang terlibat. Cara Mengetahui Perbezaan Antara Deodoran Dan Antiperspiran

Untuk memelihara dan menjaga agar kulit sentiasa sihat, tetap kering dan mengelakkan kegatalan, adalah penting untuk mengetahui perbezaan antara deodoran dan antiperspiran. Ada banyak jenis deodoran dan antiperspirant di pasaran, namun sebelum membuat pilihan samada berdasarkan jenama atau aroma, perlu diketahui beberapa maklumat asas tentang deodoran dan antiperspiran.
1.Deodoran

i. Deodoran digunakan untuk menutup bau atau memusnahkan bakteria yang menyebabkan bau. Ia tidak berfungsi untuk menghalang pengeluaran peluh, tetapi sebaliknya berfungsi menghilangkan kesan-kesan sampingan apabila sesaorang berpeluh, samada dengan memusnahkan bakteria yang berperanan melakukan penguraian peluh, punca bau yang tidak enak.

ii. Deodoran boleh digunakan pada mana-mana bahagian tubuh, bukan hanya pada bahagian ketiak. Walaupun deodoran sangat popular digunakan pada ketiak, namun ia juga sesuai digunakan pada mana-mana bahagian tubuh, yang biasa mengeluarkan bau yang tidak diingini.

iii. Deodoran boleh didapati samada dalam bentuk mineral, gel, serbuk, krim dan juga semburan. Bagi deodoran yang dalam bentuk serbuk amat sesuai digunakan pada bahagian kaki, sementara krim dan semburan deodoran sesuai digunakan di bawah lengan atau ketiak.

2.Antiperspiran.

i. Ramai menganggap bahawa antiperspiran adalah subset dari deodoran, tapi tanggapan ini sebenarnya tidak tepat. Sebenarnya deodoran menghalang bau, manakala antiperspirants menghalang peluh.

ii. Diantara kandungan utama antiperspiran adalah sebatian aluminium yang berfungsi secara berkesan untuk mengurangkan pengeluaran peluh.

iii. Antiperspirant memasuki tubuh anda melalui saluran peluh dan membentuk plug sementara untuk tidak membenarkan pelepasan keringat. Ia adalah seumpama gabus yang menyekat pembukaan pada sebiji botol.

iv. Tidak seperti deodoran, antiperspiran kebiasaannya hanya digunakan pada bahagian ketiak tubuh sahaja, dan jarang digunakan pada bahagian tubuh yang lain.

v. Seperti deodoran, antiperspiran boleh didapati dalam pelbagai bentuk, termasuk gel, krim serbuk, dan juga semburan.

Hubungan Antara Antiperspiran Atau Deodoran Dengan Kanser Payudara


Pada tahun 2002, telah dilaporkan satu kajian tentang kaitan antara kanser payudara dengan antiperspiran ketiak dan deodoran. Hasil kajian berkenaan tidak menunjukkan peningkatan risiko kanser payudara pada wanita yang menggunakan antiperspiran ketiak atau deodoran. Keputusan kajian juga menunjukkan tidak ada peningkatan risiko kanser payudara untuk wanita yang menggunakan pisau pencukur (bukan elektrik) dan antiperspiran atau deodoran ketiak, atau untuk wanita yang dilaporkan menggunakan deodoran antiperspiran di ketiak atau dalam 1 jam pencukur dengan pisau pencukur. Kesimpulan ini didasarkan pada wawancara dengan 813 wanita yang mengidap kanser payudara dan dengan 793 wanita tanpa sejarah kanser payudara.

Namun pada tahun 2003, dalam sebuah kajian yang berbeza, telah dikeluarkan satu penemuan berhubung dengan kekerapan mencukur ketiak dan penggunaan antiperspiran/deodoran oleh 437 mangsa kanser payudara. Kajian ini mendapati bahawa umur wanita yang mendapat rawatan kanser payudara secara signifikan lebih awal pada wanita yang menggunakan produk berkenaan dan melakukan pencukuran ketiak mereka lebih kerap. Selain itu, wanita yang telah melakukan kebiasaan mencukur ketiak dan menggunakan antiperspiran dan deodoran sebelum usia 16 tahun didapati mengidap kanser payudara pada usia lebih awal berbanding mereka yang melakukan kebiasaan tersebut lebih lambat.

Walaupun keputusan ini menunjukkan bahawa tabiat mencukur ketiak dan penggunaan antiperspiran serta deodoran mungkin ada kaitannya dengan kanser payudara, namun ia tidak menunjukkan keputusan yang konklusif, berkenaan dengan hubungan diantara kebiasaan amalan berkenaan (tabiat mencukur ketiak dan penggunaan antiperspiran serta deodoran) dengan kanser payudara.

Deodoran Minyak Kelapa Dara





Apakah itu deodoran?

Deodoran adalah produk penjagaan kebersihan, yang biasa digunakan dan mudah didapati hampir dalam setiap rumah. Boleh didapati dalam berbagai bentuk, samada pepejal, cecair, ataupun serbuk. Digunakan terutamanya di bawah ketiak, bagi menghilangkan bau badan yang berpunca dari aktiviti penguraian bakteria terhadap peluh. Bakteria berkenaan ‘memakan’ peluh dari apocrine glands, sel-sel kulit mati dan sel-sel bulu roma, lalu mengeluarkan asid 3-methyl-2-hexenoic.

Kebanyakan deodoran adalah berasaskan alkohol. Alkohol pada asalnya merangsang pengeluaran peluh, dan juga dapat memusnahkan bakteria. Bagaimanapun alkohol juga boleh menyebabkan kulit menjadi kering dan ada kalanya menjadi radang kemerah-merahan. Selain itu kebanyakan cecair deodoran memiliki sifat-sifat anti-perspiran, yang mana ia berupaya menghentikan atau mengurangkan pengeluaran peluh secara ketara. Dengan yang demikian ia mengurangkan lembapan yang diperlukan oleh bakteria. Bahan yang paling kerap digunakan sebagai agen anti-perspirant adalah aluminium klorohidrat, aluminium klorida dan aluminium zirkonium. Anti-perspiran yang berasaskan aluminium ini akan bertindak balas dengan elektrolit yang ada dalam air peluh, membentuk gel plugs dalam ‘sweat glands ducts.’ Gel plugs tersebut akan menghalang ‘sweat glands ducts’ dari mengeluarkan cairan peluhnya. Bagaimanapun ia akhirnya akan dikeluarkan juga melalui pertukaran sel-sel kulit.

Penemuan terakhir telah menunjukkan bahawa aluminium adalah bersifat ‘poisonous neurotoxin’, yang boleh terkumpul di dalam tubuh. Ia didapati boleh menyebabkan pemendakan amyloid proteins yang menjadi punca kekusutan sel-sel otak dalam kebanyakan kes ‘dementia’. Hasil dari kajian tersebut juga mereka menemukan bukti bahawa paras aluminium fluorida serendah 1ppm, boleh menyebabkan kesan buruk terhadap perkembangan otak. Aluminium yang bersifat ‘poisonous neurotoxin’ berpotensi merubah fungsi ‘blood brain barrier’, dan ia adalah salah satu unsur yang tidak ada fungsi dan manafaat terhadap sel-sel hidup.

Tidak menghairankan bahawa penggunaan aluminium dalam anti-perspirants dikatakan mempunyai hubung kait dengan ‘systemic accumulation of aluminium’ , punca meningkatnya risiko penyakit Alzheimer.

Telah ditemukan juga melalui satu kajian yang dilakukan pada tahun 2004 oleh Dr Kris McGrath, seorang ahli alergi Chicago yang mendakwa telah menemui hubungan antara antiperspiran, mencukur ketiak dan kanser. Beliau percaya bahan penyebab yang terdapat di dalam antiperspiran adalah racun dalam garam aluminium seperti aluminium klorohidrat, aluminium klorida dan aluminium zirkonium. Beliau mengatakan, walaupun bahan-bahan tersebut biasanya tidak menembusi kulit dan tidak menimbulkan masalah, namun dengan mencukur boleh mengakibatkan perkara yang sebaliknya terhadap kulit. Perlakuan mencukur sebenarnya, mengganggu kulit seumpama membuka pintu untuk kemasukan bahan-bahan berkenaan, kerana tepat di bawah kulit terdapat sistem lymphatic, yang bersambung dengan payudara.

Dalam kajian tersebut, lebih dari 400 pengidap kanser payudara di Chicago memperakui bahawa mereka biasa menggunakan antiperspirants dan mencukur ketiak. Beliau mendapati bahawa wanita yang melakukan pencukuran ketiak yang kerap mengalami serangan kanser payudara 22 tahun lebih awal dari yang tidak melakukannya.

Terakhir para penyelidik British, telah menemui juga jejak bahan kimia lain yang disebut paraben, digunakan sebagai pengawet dalam deodorant, pada rangkaian yang diambil dari wanita yang mengidap kanser payudara. Mereka juga telah menerbitkan hasil kajian mereka dalam Journal of Toxicology yang memberikan pandangan kemungkinan bahan kosmetik yang digunapakai pada ketiak menjadi antara faktor penyebab kanser payudara. Walaupun tidak jelas bagaimana berlaku mekanisme yang diajukan, tapi yang pasti adalah lebih selamat untuk mengelakkan semua antiperspiran dan deodoran, yang mengandungi bahan-bahan tersebut demi keselamatan.

2009 A(H1N1) pandemic

In the 2009 flu pandemic, the virus isolated from patients in the United States was found to be made up of genetic elements from four different flu viruses – North American Mexican influenza, North American avian influenza, human influenza, and swine influenza virus typically found in Asia and Europe – "an unusually mongrelised mix of genetic sequences." This new strain appears to be a result of reassortment of human influenza and swine influenza viruses, in all four different strains of subtype H1N1.

Preliminary genetic characterization found that the hemagglutinin (HA) gene was similar to that of swine flu viruses present in U.S. pigs since 1999, but the neuraminidase (NA) and matrix protein (M) genes resembled versions present in European swine flu isolates. The six genes from American swine flu are themselves mixtures of swine flu, bird flu, and human flu viruses. While viruses with this genetic makeup had not previously been found to be circulating in humans or pigs, there is no formal national surveillance system to determine what viruses are circulating in pigs in the U.S.

On June 11, 2009, the WHO declared an H1N1 pandemic, moving the alert level to phase 6, marking the first global pandemic since the 1968 Hong Kong flu.


Nomenclature

Influenza A virus strains are categorized according to two proteins found on the surface of the virus: hemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N). All influenza A viruses contain hemagglutinin and neuraminidase, but the structures of these proteins differ from strain to strain, due to rapid genetic mutation in the viral genome.
Influenza A virus strains are assigned an H number and an N number based on which forms of these two proteins the strain contains. There are 16 H and 9 N subtypes known in birds, but only H 1, 2 and 3, and N 1 and 2 are commonly found in humans.


Virology Morphology



Structure of the influenza virion. The hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) proteins are shown on the surface of the particle. The viral RNAs that make up the genome are shown as red coils inside the particle and bound to Ribonuclear Proteins (RNPs).

The virion is pleomorphic, the envelope can occur in spherical and filamentous forms. In general the virus's morphology is spherical with particles 50 to 120 nm in diameter, or filamentous virions 20 nm in diameter and 200 to 300 (-3000) nm long. There are some 500 distinct spike-like surface projections of the envelope each projecting 10 to 14 nm from the surface with some types (i.e. hemagglutinin esterase (HEF)) densely dispersed over the surface, and with others (i.e. hemagglutinin (HA)) spaced widely apart.

The major glycoprotein (HA) is interposed irregularly by clusters of neuraminidase (NA), with a ratio of HA to NA of about 4-5 to 1.

Lipoprotein membranes enclose the nucleocapsids; nucleoproteins of different size classes with a loop at each end; the arrangement within the virion is uncertain. The nucleocapsids are filamentous and fall in the range of 50 to 130 nm long and 9 to 15 nm in diameter. They have a helical symmetry.


Genome
Viruses of this family contain 7 to 8 segments of linear negative-sense single stranded RNA.
The total genome length is 12000-15000 nucleotides (nt). The largest segment 2300-2500 nt; of second largest 2300-2500 nt; of third 2200-2300 nt; of fourth 1700-1800 nt; of fifth 1500-1600 nt; of sixth 1400-1500 nt; of seventh 1000-1100 nt; of eighth 800-900 nt. Genome sequence has terminal repeated sequences; repeated at both ends. Terminal repeats at the 5'-end 12-13 nucleotides long. Nucleotide sequences of 3'-terminus identical; the same in genera of same family; most on RNA (segments), or on all RNA species. Terminal repeats at the 3'-end 9-11 nucleotides long. Encapsidated nucleic acid is solely genomic. Each virion may contain defective interfering copies.

The following applies for Influenza A viruses, although other influenza strains are very similar in structure:

The influenza A virus particle or virion is 80-120 nm in diameter and usually roughly spherical, although filamentous forms can occur. Unusually for a virus, the influenza A genome is not a single piece of nucleic acid; instead, it contains eight pieces of segmented negative-sense RNA (13.5 kilobases total), which encode 11 proteins (HA, NA, NP, M1, M2, NS1, NEP, PA, PB1, PB1-F2, PB2). The best-characterised of these viral proteins are hemagglutinin and neuraminidase, two large glycoproteins found on the outside of the viral particles. Neuraminidase is an enzyme involved in the release of progeny virus from infected cells, by cleaving sugars that bind the mature viral particles. By contrast, hemagglutinin is a lectin that mediates binding of the virus to target cells and entry of the viral genome into the target cell. The hemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N) proteins are targets for antiviral drugs. These proteins are also recognised by antibodies, i.e. they are antigens. The responses of antibodies to these proteins are used to classify the different serotypes of influenza A viruses, hence the H and N in H5N1.




Life cycle
Invasion and replication of the influenza virus. The steps in this process are discussed in the text.
Typically, influenza is transmitted from infected mammals through the air by coughs or sneezes, creating aerosols containing the virus, and from infected birds through their droppings. Influenza can also be transmitted by saliva, nasal secretions, feces and blood. Infections occur through contact with these bodily fluids or with contaminated surfaces. Flu viruses can remain infectious for about one week at human body temperature, over 30 days at 0 °C (32 °F), and indefinitely at very low temperatures (such as lakes in northeast Siberia). They can be inactivated easily by disinfectants and detergents.

The viruses bind to a cell through interactions between its hemagglutinin glycoprotein and sialic acid sugars on the surfaces of epithelial cells in the lung and throat (Stage 1 in infection figure). The cell imports the virus by endocytosis. In the acidic endosome, part of the haemagglutinin protein fuses the viral envelope with the vacuole's membrane, releasing the viral RNA (vRNA) molecules, accessory proteins and RNA-dependent RNA polymerase into the cytoplasm (Stage 2). These proteins and vRNA form a complex that is transported into the cell nucleus, where the RNA-dependent RNA transcriptase begins transcribing complementary positive-sense vRNA (Steps 3a and b). The vRNA is either exported into the cytoplasm and translated (step 4), or remains in the nucleus. Newly-synthesised viral proteins are either secreted through the Golgi apparatus onto the cell surface (in the case of neuraminidase and hemagglutinin, step 5b) or transported back into the nucleus to bind vRNA and form new viral genome particles (step 5a). Other viral proteins have multiple actions in the host cell, including degrading cellular mRNA and using the released nucleotides for vRNA synthesis and also inhibiting translation of host-cell mRNAs.

Negative-sense vRNAs that form the genomes of future viruses, RNA-dependent RNA transcriptase, and other viral proteins are assembled into a virion. Hemagglutinin and neuraminidase molecules cluster into a bulge in the cell membrane. The vRNA and viral core proteins leave the nucleus and enter this membrane protrusion (step 6). The mature virus buds off from the cell in a sphere of host phospholipid membrane, acquiring hemagglutinin and neuraminidase with this membrane coat (step 7). As before, the viruses adhere to the cell through hemagglutinin; the mature viruses detach once their neuraminidase has cleaved sialic acid residues from the host cell. After the release of new influenza virus, the host cell dies.

Since RNA proofreading enzymes are absent, the RNA-dependent RNA transcriptase makes a single nucleotide insertion error roughly every 10 thousand nucleotides, which is the approximate length of the influenza vRNA. Hence, nearly every newly-manufactured influenza virus will contain a mutation in its genome. The separation of the genome into eight separate segments of vRNA allows mixing (reassortment) of the genes if more than one variety of influenza virus has infected the same cell (superinfection). The resulting alteration in the genome segments packaged in to viral progeny confers new behavior, sometimes the ability to infect new host species or to overcome protective immunity of host populations to its old genome (in which case it is called an antigenic shift).
